Dental bridges are available in Chandler, AZ, to replace missing teeth and restore speech, chewing, and smiling abilities. Several dentists in the area offer consultations and treatment for different types of bridges, which are usually completed in one visit and attached to adjacent teeth. A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. With this type of restoration, one or more neighboring teeth may be crowned and used to anchor the replacement.
Tooth replacement helps prevent the shifting of surrounding teeth into gaps. If left untreated, structural changes to your mouth and jaw may occur. Such changes can cause you difficulty with eating, speech, and other functions.
A dental bridge is custom-made to match your natural teeth in color, size, and shape. We use strong and durable materials for your restoration. With appropriate at-home and professional care, your dental bridge may last for years.
We understand that choosing a tooth replacement solution is a big decision. Our compassionate dental team dedicates itself to guiding you through the entire process. From your initial consultation to final placement, you’ll receive personalized care and expert attention at every step. Our goal is to give you a long-lasting dental bridge that feels natural and looks beautiful. Please book an appointment at Provinces Dental.
FAQs
Who is a good candidate for a dental bridge?
You may be a good candidate if you have one or more missing teeth, strong adjacent teeth to support the bridge, and healthy gums. Our dentists at Provinces Dental will evaluate your oral health and help determine whether a bridge, dental implant, or another restoration best suits your needs.
What types of dental bridges are available at Provinces Dental?
We offer several types, including traditional bridges, cantilever bridges, Maryland bridges, and implant-supported bridges. During your consultation, our team will explain the advantages of each type to help you choose the most durable and aesthetically pleasing option for your smile.
How long does the dental bridge procedure take?
The process typically requires two visits. During the first visit, the supporting teeth are prepared, and impressions are taken. A temporary bridge is placed for protection. On your second visit, your custom-made permanent bridge is fitted, adjusted, and securely bonded for a perfect fit.
How long do dental bridges last?
With proper care, dental bridges can last 10 to 15 years or longer. Good oral hygiene, regular dental checkups, and avoiding habits like chewing on hard objects can help extend the life of your bridge.
Are dental bridges comfortable?
Yes. Once your bridge is properly fitted and your mouth adjusts, it should feel and function just like your natural teeth. Provinces Dental uses advanced materials and precision techniques to ensure your bridge is both comfortable and natural-looking.
How do I care for my dental bridge?
Daily brushing, flossing (using a floss threader or water flosser), and routine cleanings are essential. Keeping the surrounding teeth and gums healthy helps maintain the bridge’s stability and longevity. Our hygienists can show you the best cleaning methods during your appointment.
How can I schedule a consultation for a dental bridge?
